Fire razes two factories in Kwara

At the Akere Spare Parts Market, Ajegunle in the Apapa district of Lagos State, a fire incident resulted in the destruction of goods valued in the millions of naira. A 65-year-old security guard’s lifeless body was reportedly found close to the accident site. CBN warns against naira abuse, says it increases printing cost

Commercial banks have been obligated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to collect old N500 and N1,000 naira notes from clients. According to the statement, the Supreme Court’s directive makes the old notes legal tender.
