A man in Ghana was attacked and killed by lions after scaling a fence at a zoo in the capital, Accra. The man was spotted in the enclosure that has a lion, lioness and two cubs moments before the deadly attack. Two US warships are passing through the Taiwan Strait, the United States Navy has announced. It is the first such operation to take place since tensions between Taiwan and China increased following a visit by US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan earlier this month.
