Iran designated several British people and institutions on Wednesday for their “deliberate actions in support of terrorism, incitement of violence, and human rights violations,” Iran’s foreign ministry said. The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) says that only 36 per cent of Nigerian children attend Early Childhood Education (ECE). The fund said the percentage accounted for one in every three children, with a call for the scaling up of the number. The UNICEF Education Specialist, Yetunde Oluwatosin, said this in Sokoto on Wednesday at a two-day Media Dialogue on Early Child Education (ECE) in Nigeria. A 25-year-old man, Bulus Asuma, has committed suicide in Jos over the loss of two tricycles belonging to his employees to thieves, the police said in Jos on Wednesday. Asuma of Angwan Rukuba in Jos North Local Government Area is said to have hung himself in his room when he returned home the day the second tricycle was dispossessed from him by a gun wielding man.
