The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Nigeria has disclosed 222.6 million telephone subscribers as of the end of 2022. The 2022 figure represented a 27.1 million subscriber growth over the 195.5 million registered at the end of 2021. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a 42-year-old cripple, allegedly trading in illicit drug on his wheelchair in Edo. The arrest was communicated in a statement by the Director, Media and Advocacy, NDLEA, Femi Babafemi on Sunday in Abuja.
