The Donkey Dealers Association of Nigeria is demanding one billion naira compensation from the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) over seized dried meat handed to the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS). NAQS has destroyed 414 sacks of meat, valued at N200 million impounded by the Kebbi State Command of the NCS on May 19. Zamfara State Police Command has returned all vehicles it seized from the former governor of the state, Bello Matawalle. The Zamfara police public relations officer, ASP Yazid Abubakar on Saturday confirmed the development to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) via telephone. Abubakar said the vehicles were returned in compliance with the order of Federal High Court sitting in Gusau.
