The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Ebonyi has arrested three minors for alleged attempt to rape another minor and assault. Two of the suspects are aged 15 and 13, the state commandant of the Corps, Elijah Willie, told journalists on Saturday in Abakaliki. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has dismissed a report by a national newspaper entitled: “EFCC Stopped Service of Charges on Binance Chief, FIRS Alleges”, noting that it is false. The National Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has slammed a N200m fine on Abuja Electricity Distribution Company for violating the new electricity tariff order as stipulated by the regulatory body. The decision to axe the distribution company was taken over it’s failure to comply with the prescribed customer band classifications for the tariff billing.
