Israeli police on Thursday raided the offices of Al Jazeera in the city of Nazareth, confiscating equipment belonging to the Arab-language TV channel. The raid comes several days after the Israeli government banned Al Jazeera, both blocking access to Al Jazeera’s content in Israel and banning the broadcaster from operating. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Wednesday, arraigned Abubakar Dandare, a registrar of the Upper Sharia Court in Gusau, Zamfara for alleged forgery and misappropriation of a dead man’s N3.8 million.
