The Federal Capital Territory Police Command on Thursday paraded six suspects who specialise in registering Subscriber Identity Module cards with other innocent citizens’ identities and selling them to criminals. The suspects are Ndubuisi Okeh; John Jock; Nafiu Tijani (a dispatcher); Nasiru Sulaiman; John Njoku and Suleiman Musa. Addressing journalists while parading the suspects, the FCT Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igwe, said the suspects sold the SIM cards to criminals between N3,000 and N5000. AC Milan have appointed Portuguese manager Paulo Fonseca as their new head coach on a three-year contract, replacing Stefano Pioli, the Serie A club announced on Thursday. Pioli left Milan after the 19-time Italian champions finished second last season, 19 points behind champions Inter, and following lacklustre runs in the Champions League and the domestic cups. The Delta State High Court sitting at Asaba on Tuesday sentenced Inspector Ubi Ebri of the Nigeria Police Force to death on a murder charge. The court presided over by Justice C. D. Diai convicted and sentenced the Inspector to death for killing a phone dealer, Mr Onyeka Ibeh, in Asaba. Ibeh, a popular phone dealer in Asaba, along with his wife was driving from Ugbolu to Asaba on April 5, 2023, when they were flagged down by the police team for a search. The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a man identified as Yusuf Adenoyin for possessing eight human skulls in Isua, the headquarters of Akoko South-East Local Government Area. The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, on Wednesday, explained that police personnel attached to the Police Safer Highway Patrol at the Isua/Epinmi checkpoint arrested the suspect. Veteran Nollywood actor, Dayo Adewunmi, popularly known as Sule Suebebe, is dead. The Yoruba actor died on Wednesday morning at an undisclosed hospital in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. The news of his death was announced by a popular Ibadan-based cleric, Pastor Ademola Amusan, also known as Agbala Gabriel, who had been caring for the actor in recent months. Lazio have appointed former Hellas Verona coach Marco Baroni as their new manager to replace Igor Tudor, the Serie A club said on Tuesday.
