The Ogun State Police Command on Saturday said that its operatives with Ago-Iwoye Division have arrested one Eje Benson, also known as Kenny, and his accomplice, Ominiyi Austin, for allegedly stealing a N1.3m Bajaj motorcycle with number plate DGB 629 VC belonging to one Francis Ayinde. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has attributed the significant decline in oil revenue for the third quarter of 2024 to ageing pipeline infrastructure and operational inefficiencies. According to the apex bank’s latest economic report for the third quarter of 2024, oil revenue fell by 24.72 per cent to N1.30tn compared to the second quarter of 2024. An Azerbaijan Airlines passenger jet crashed on Wednesday in western Kazakhstan, with 35 people feared dead, officials said.
