Southeast governors are in a crucial stakeholder’s meeting with Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers over the recent happenings in the South South state. Though there was no official declaration of the reason for their visit, it was gathered the meeting was in connection with the recent nefarious activities of hoodlums identified by security agencies as members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Oyigbo Local Government Area of the State. The Bodija outlet of Grandez Supermarket, a chain store owned and operated by the wife of former Oyo Governor Abiola Ajimobi is on fire. The fire incident, which started from the back office of the outlet, is gradually spreading to the main stores. A policy group in Nigeria has claimed that some youths collected N1 billion to make the country ungovernable following the #EndSARS protests in October.
