The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has said his administration will consider the proposed establishment of a Youth Development Commission in the state. The Governor made the commitment at the closing ceremony of the three-day Benue Youth Summit held in Makurdi. High-ranking Iranian nuclear physicist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, named by the West as leading the Islamic Republic’s military nuclear programme until its disbanding in the early 2000s, has been assassinated in an ambush near Tehran. Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has okayed the appointment of Musa Saleh-Kwankwaso, the father of the former governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, as kingmaker of the Karaye Emirate Council.
