The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved waivers for new members of the ruling party to enable them contest elections. The waiver was announced on Tuesday after a NEC meeting at the State House in the Presidential Villa, Abuja. Nigeria has denied the allegation, by the United States, of engaging in systematic and egregious religious freedom violations. Zuokemefa-Peter was a lecturer at the Bayelsa State College of Education, Sagbama, Bayelsa State.
