Ogun State Police Command on Friday arrested two men, Francis Obeya and Emmanuel Abah for stealing a motorbike belonging to their employer. The suspects were arrested following a distress call received from a Lagos based company at the Police Command’s control room that a dispatch rider with the company was sent to deliver a certain goods to a client but absconded with the goods and the motorbike. But, the state Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) said there will be cross-over night service on December 31, in many churches observing it. The Federal Government will administer the COVID-19 vaccine to Nigerians free when vaccination begins, the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 Control, has assured. The Lagos State Police Command has recovered six more rifles stolen from two police stations during the violence that followed #EndSARS protests. This is just as the command arrested 67 suspects alleged to have been involved in burning of police stations, public places and looting of valuables. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 1,133 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Wednesday. The 1,133 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 80,922. A truck laden with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) on Wednesday exploded and killed six persons at Jebba in Moro Local Government of Kwara State. The tanker, said to be travelling through the ancient town, lost control and spilled its contents, as it rammed into houses.
