Operatives of the Uyo Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Friday April 16, 2021, arrested one Imeh Henshaw Nyong, a music producer and four others for alleged internet fraud in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. The Zamfara state police command has arrested one medical doctor and seven other persons for allegedly aiding and abetting banditry across the state. The state commissioner for information, Ibrahim Dosara, disclosed this at a press briefing held in Gusau on Thursday, saying that the medical doctor was arrested in Kamarawa village of Isa local government area of Sokoto state. The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested eight persons at Tudun Murtala in Nassarawa Local Government Area and Hudebiyya in Sharada, Kano, over their alleged refusal to fast during Ramadan. Former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha has been granted administrative bail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Thursday. Okorocha, who is being investigated for alleged mismanagement of N7.9 billion funds, was mobilizing last night to meet the bail terms, including two sureties with landed properties in Abuja.
