The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila says record has shown that only nine per cent of the total budgetary allocation to the Nigerian Armed Forces is spent on equipment. No fewer than ten persons have been reportedly killed by suspected herdsmen in Bornon Kurkur community, Bali Local Government Area of Taraba State. Israel’s military operation against Palestinian Hamas militants in Gaza will continue “with full force”, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said. “We are acting now, for as long as necessary, to restore calm… It will take time,” Mr Netanyahu warned.
