Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai has declared the president of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba wanted following protests that led to the shutting down of schools and businesses. According to a statement by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Seattle, the governor’s aide was arrested on Friday evening at JFK Airport in New York on a criminal complaint charging him with wire fraud for his scheme to steal over $350,000 in unemployment benefits from the Washington State Employment Security Department. A dismissed soldier has been arrested for training fighters recruited for the Eastern Security Network (ESN) by the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
