No fewer than 900 doctors, nurses and health workers in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) may lose their jobs. This is because the FCT Administration (FCTA), has given the managers of the Garki Hospital a month notice to vacate the facility. The Nation reports that this move by the government was as a result of the expiration of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement between the NISA Premier-the current managers of Garki Hospital and the FCTA. The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday announced that it has postponed its presidential screening exercise. Chronicle NG reports that the APC presidential primary was scheduled to hold on 23 May but has now been postponed with no new date announced. “The screening exercise for presidential aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) earlier scheduled to be held on Monday, May 23rd, 2022, is hereby postponed,” APC publicitysecretary, Felix Morka said. His decision to resign comes after President Muhammadu Buhari directed all ministers seeking elective offices to resign.
