Popular Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, who is currently facing charges of sexual assault and molestation has been granted bail and released to his lawyer. The Special Offences and Domestic Violence Court in Ikeja, Lagos granted bail to Baba Ijesha in the sum of N2million with two sureties. The court during Omiyinka’s trial on Thursday held that one of the sureties must be a blood relation, resident in Lagos, and must have a tax clearance certificate of three years preceding today. At least one person has been killed and 33 others abducted following an attack by bandits suspected to be kidnappers in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State. An indigenous group in Canada says it has found hundreds of unmarked graves at the site of a former residential school in Saskatchewan.
