Bandits have kidnapped the provost of the College of Arts and Animal Science Bakura, Habibu Mainasara, in Zamfara State. According to a report by Daily Post, the incident occured in the early hours of Sunday when the bandits invaded his official residence within Government Science Secondary School premises, Bakura. The incident, which has sparked tension in the area, comes barely two days after the bandits raided some communities in Maradun Local Government Area of the state, killing at least 42 persons. Bandits have kidnapped the Emir of Kajuru, Adamu Kajuru and thirteen of his family members, including two of his grandchildren, in a late-night attack in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
