Major-General Hassan Ahmed has been assasinated in Abuja. A source close to the family said he was murdered on Thursday close to the Abaji area of Abuja. General Ahmed was a former Provost Marshal of the Nigerian Army and was recently appointed as a Director at the Army Headquarters in Abuja.
