An Amotekun commandant and two other unidentified persons have been killed by unknown gunmen in Ibarapa, Osun state. According to Daily Post, the gunmen invaded Igangan in Ibarapa North local government and Ibarapa Central local government areas on Friday night. The invasion is coming less than two months after about twenty people were killed by yet to be identified gunmen who invaded Igangan town. Gunmen had on June 5th invaded Igangan causing collateral damages. About twenty people were reportedly killed during the incident. Italina club, Spezia have been handed a two-year transfer ban, for breaching FIFA rules by bringing in underage Nigerian players. They will not be allowed to sign new players for four transfer windows starting from January 2022. The remains of the former Provost Marshal of the Nigerian Army, late Major General Hussein Ahmed have been laid to rest at Guards Brigade Cemetery Abuja. Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, disclosed this in a statement on Friday evening. Several vehicles were submerged underwater while many commuters were left stranded amid the heavy downpour in several parts of Lagos state on Friday.
