US news network CNN has sacked three employees for going into an office without having been vaccinated against COVID-19, US media say. It is one of the first examples of a US firm firing staff for breaching a company vaccination mandate. It is legal in the US for firms to require employees to be vaccinated. The son of late former President Umar Musa Yar’Adua, Aminu Yar’Adua has been remanded in prison for killing four people in Yola, Adamawa state. Aminu, a student of American University of Nigeria allegedly crushed the victims while over speeding which led to a car accident.
