The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 53 deaths and 650 fresh cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. The national health agency announced this on Saturday night, adding that new cases were confirmed in 16 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The Defence Headquarters has refuted allegations that Commodore Kunle Olawunmi (rtd) was declared wanted by the Defence Intelligence Agency over his interview with Channels TV.
