The Ricketts family, who own Major League Baseball team the Chicago Cubs, have confirmed they are leading a group of investors which will make a bid for Chelsea by Friday’s deadline. The Senate on Wednesday passed a bill to amend the Money Laundering Act 2011. The passage of the bill tagged, “Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act 2022”, followed the consideration of a report by the Committee on Anti-Corruption and Financial Crimes. President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the reconstitution of the Governing Board of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), following the expiration of the tenure of the former Board.
