On Saturday, the Director of Risk Reduction department, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mr Alhassan Nuhu revealed that the agency is working towards establishing an Emergency Operation Centre, to boost its preparedness and response to emergency issues in the country. The African Union Department of Political Affairs has been commended for including the African youth in the conversations and processes leading to the development of the Common African Position on Humanitarian Effectiveness (CAP).
