RCCG offers free UTME forms to indigent students

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has retired as the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), media reports claim. He announced the decision on Saturday morning. He will be replaced by Pastor Obayemi, a source said. Pastor Adeboye graduated with a B.Sc. in Mathematics at University of Nigeria Nsukka. He subsequently got his PhD in applied mathematics from the University of Lagos, and worked as a lecturer in mathematics at the universities of Lagos and Ilorin. Russian President Vladimir Putin sought to help Donald Trump win the presidential election, a US intelligence report says. The unclassified report says the Russian leader “ordered” a campaign aimed at influencing the election. Moscow has not commented, but Russia has previously denied the claims. After being briefed on the findings, Mr Trump stopped short of accusing Russia of interfering, saying only that the election outcome was not affected. British troops have deployed to Sierra Leone as part of a new Africa mission to stop the migrant flow to Europe at its source. MailOnline reports that some 90 UK soldiers joined local troops in the jungle for the first time ever as the Armed Forces seeks to increase its military footprint in the region. The seized money, according to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission was stolen from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and stashed in three banks in Nigeria, in US dollars and Naira. The US Congress is exploring ways to pay for a southern border wall, with payment to be sought from Mexico later. President-elect Donald Trump made building a wall, paid for by the US neighbour, a central campaign pledge.
