The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Osun state on Monday said it had canceled the Workers Day celebration in honour of Sen. Isiaka Adeleke who died on April, 23. The State NLC chairman, Mr Jacob Adekomi told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Osogbo, that the body took the decision to honour Adeleke who was the state’s first civilian governor. Four persons were burnt to death this morning on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway following an accident involving an IVECO Truck and a Toyota bus belonging to G. Agofure Motors. The bus LND 991 XN had burst into flames, injuring 12 other persons. Both the bus and the truck, NSR 213ZD, were heading to Lagos when the accident happened around Mowe in Ogun State, leading to traffic gridlock, on both sides of the road.
