The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has granted administrative bail to the immediate past governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, after four days in custody. EFCC chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, who disclosed this to journalists on Monday in Abuja said the former governor was cooperating with the commission to perfect the bail conditions. A Boeing 737 carrying more than 133 people has crashed in mountains in China, with smoke seen billowing from the scene. Chinese state television says the plane, flying from Kunming to Guangzhou, had an “accident” over Guangxi. The China Eastern Airlines flight had 133 people onboard at the time of the incident, with nine crew members. The Ijegun-Egba Tank Farm Owners and Operators’ Association has committed to the supply of 40 trucks of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise called petrol, to the Federal capital Territory (FCT) daily.
