Senator Stella Oduah says that the South eastern part of the country requires a minimum of three inland ports to boost the economic growth of the country. The Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS), Lagos Command Detectives have arrested the killer of a Catholic priest serving in Imo State, Reverend Father Cyriacus Onunkwo. The suspect, identified as Raphael Ndukwe, was tracked down to his hideout in the Ajangbadi area of Ojo, based on a tip-off. Fr. Onunkwo was kidnapped in Imo State by gunmen on Friday, September 1, 2017 from his car and taken to Omumma, where his body was found the next day. Topbrass Aviation Limited, an indigenous aviation firm has slammed $45 million breach of contract suit on Diamond Bank Plc. The case is before a Federal High Court in Lagos, southwest Nigeria. The aviation firm’s suit marked FHC/L/CS/1488/2017, is seeking an order of the court for special damages of the sum of $19, 250 million, against the bank and being the revenue or income it lost from December 2014 to the date of filling the suit, cause by Diamond Bank’s unethical practices. Five people at a Florida nursing home that was left without power for days after Hurricane Irma have died. Police evacuated some 120 residents on Wednesday from the facility, which the storm left without air conditioning.
