The Ondo State Government says it will procure detective diagnostic machine latest December to reduce the scourge of breast cancer in the state. Dr Wahab Adegbenro, the state Commissioner for Health, said this in Akure at 2017 Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign and Screening. The Osun State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Wednesday announced that 16.8 hectares of Indian hemp (Cannabis Sativa) farm located in Ikoyi community in the state had been destroyed. The Commandant, Mr Samuel Egbeola, made the disclosure while speaking with newsmen in Osogbo on the achievements of the agency in Osun. He said that the farm was destroyed on Sept. 26. A record number of people came out as gay, lesbian or bisexual last year, with the figure hitting one million for the first time on record, new statistics reveal. A woman who made child porn videos which she sent to her husband was jailed for 30 years for what police described as the “worst case” of the crime they had seen in two decades. The Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN) says it will reduce the price of locally produced rice from N18,000 per 50kg bag to N6,000 within the next few months.
