The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Tuesday said that 81,778 newly printed Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) were ready for collection in Anambra State. Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok returned home on Tuesday, a day after he was detained as the army seized power in a coup that has claimed at least seven lives. The release of Prime Minister Abdallah Hamdok and his wife followed international condemnation of the coup and calls for the military to release all the government officials who were detained when Gen. An angry mob has lynched a family suspected to be bandit informants in Zangon Aya community in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The victims who were killed were identified as Abdullahi Mohammed Gobirawa, his wife Binta Abdullahi and his son Hassan Abdullahi.
