Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti on Thursday approved the disbursement of over N200 million as car loan to 645 workers in the state’s service. Nigeria’s former Sports Minister Damishi Sango has been kidnapped on his way to Abuja for PDP’s National Convention by by yet to be identified persons.
 Sango who is the Plateau state Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chairman was abducted along with his entourage. One of Nigeria’s two main oil unions on Thursday threatened to launch a nationwide strike from December 18 over what it said was a “mass sacking of workers that joined the union”.
