The Adamawa Police Command has confirmed the killing of four people at Kamale village in Michika Local Government Area of the state. The command’s Spokesman, SP Othman Abubakar, told the newsmen that the member representing Michika/Madagali Federal Constituency, Rep. Adamu Kamale, narrowly escaped the attack. Abubakar, who did not give details of the incident, however said that the attack was carried out by unknown gunmen who came with a list, going from house to house calling the names of their victims. PETROAN says truck ban will affect over 100,000 jobs

The Police Command in Oyo State has arrested a soldier serving at 81 Battalion, Makola, Ibadan, for allegedly hijacking a fuel-laden truck along Akobo, Iwo road. The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Abiodun Odunde, made the disclosure in Ibadan while presenting the suspects to newsmen at the command’s headquarters in Ibadan on Friday. The Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association (DAPPMA) has assured Nigerians of regular supply of petrol, in spite of the N600 billion owed it by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). Its Executive Secretary, Mr Olufemi Adewole, gave the assurance in a statement issued in Lagos on Thursday. Apple says it will issue a software update to give users more information about battery health

Apple has apologised after facing criticism for admitting it deliberately slows down some ageing iPhone models. The company now says it will replace batteries for less and will issue software in 2018 so customers can monitor their phone’s battery health.
