No fewer than 10 persons have been feared killed during clashes between Fulani natives and farmers in two villages of Dandi and Suru council areas of Kebbi State. An eyewitness, Issa Kamba, told newsmen that the casualties followed an attack by some Fulani people on the farmers in their farms. Two people have been killed and 17 injured in a high school shooting in the US state of Kentucky. A 15-year-old girl died at the scene at Marshall County High School in the town of Benton and a 15-year-old boy died in hospital, said Kentucky’s governor. Nigeria can generate over 700, 000 jobs from the leather industry, Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu, said on Tuesday in Sokoto. The minister, who made the remark in a message to the National Leather and Leather Products Policy Validation Workshop, said that the leather industry generates N24.5 billion annually.
