The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has ordered the deployment of 1,500 of its personnel to enforce hitch-free vehicular movement during Saturday’s national convention of the All Progressives Congress holding in Abuja. FRSC is also deploying 35 vehicles, tow trucks, bikes, and ambulances to the venue of the APC convention strengthen enforcement of restrictions in the cordoned areas during the convention. The Federal High Court of Nigeria is scheduled to vacate for its annual Easter break from April 8, a circular from the court said. The circular was issued to federal high courts, signed by the Chief Judge of the court, Hon. Justice John Tsoho. According to the circular, the 2022 Easter vacation is from April 8 to April 25. Judicial activities are scheduled to resume on April 26. Troops of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), have successfully overrun and captured the stronghold of the Islamic States West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists at Ukuba/Camp Zairo, in Sambisa Forest.
