At least 23 Boko Haram fighters have been killed and their weapons recovered during a clearance operation in villages in the Lake Chad region by the military. Brig.-Gen. President Muhammadu Buhari has reappointed six public office holders for a second term in office following the expiration of their tenure. The legal hostility between multinational oil company, Petrocam Trading Nigeria Limited and Union bank of Nigeria Plc has taken a new twist.
