Serie A side Roma appears to be modelling their next season’s jersey after the widely accepted jersey of the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Nigeria is failing to enforce a much heralded ban on female genital mutilation, activists said on Friday, as they urged the country to sort out a “messy patchwork” of laws and beef up efforts to protect girls. At least 15 people were killed in violence in northern and central Nigeria, police and local officials said on Thursday, in the latest unrest to hit the restive regions.
