AAC’s Sowore says he is running to win in 2027

A Federal High Court in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital has granted the Department of State Security 45 days to detain Omoyele Sowore, convener of #RevolutionNow. The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) and founder of online news website, SaharaReporters was arrested at his home on 4 August 2019. Sowore had called for a revolution against the government of President Muhammadu Buhari declaring it, “Day of Rage”.
