Gunmen attacked the headquarters of a local security organization, codenamed OSPAC, on Erema Street in Omoku, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Rivers State, injuring one person.

Three suspected kidnappers have been shot dead and others escaped with bullets wounds in Elele Alimini Community in Emohua Local Government Area, Rivers state. A Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday ordered the forfeiture of two properties in Ikoyi belonging to former Senate President and ex-governor of Kwara state, Bukola Saraki. Justice Mohammed Liman made the temporary forfeiture order following an ex parte application by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. The EFCC said the landed property “lying and known as No. 17A McDonald Road, Ikoyi,” was reasonably suspected to have been acquired with proceeds of unlawful activity. The management of Kano Zoological Garden said the escaped lion in its custody has finally been captured and returned to its cage. The Kaduna State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Musa Rambo, the Police Area Commander in Suleja.
