Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu, on Saturday, pledged that the police would be professional and neutral in the conduct of the Nov. 16 governorship elections in Kogi and Bayalsa States. The IGP stated this in Lafia at an event held in his honour by the Lafia Progressive Forum. The Economic and Finance Crimes Commission (EFCC) says it will extend its investigation to doctors that issue fake medical reports to those facing prosecution for alleged economic and financial crimes. Four persons escaped death on Thursday as four different two-storey buildings, collapsed at about 4:10p.m at Glover Court, Ikoyi, Lagos on Friday.
