Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu, on Saturday, pledged that the police would be professional and neutral in the conduct of the Nov. 16 governorship elections in Kogi and Bayalsa States. The crisis between Edo state governor and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress degenerated Saturday as angry youths from Iyamho Oshiomhole’s village in Etsako West local government area attacked the convoy of Governor Godwin Obaseki from Entering Oshiomhole’s compound after the maiden convocation of Edo University. The Economic and Finance Crimes Commission (EFCC) says it will extend its investigation to doctors that issue fake medical reports to those facing prosecution for alleged economic and financial crimes. Four persons escaped death on Thursday as four different two-storey buildings, collapsed at about 4:10p.m at Glover Court, Ikoyi, Lagos on Friday.
