The All Progressives Congress (APC) won the Kuje Area Council chairmanship election, with Danjuma Shekwolo emerging as the winner.
Shekwolo received 17,269 votes, according to the official results.
Returning Officer Prof. Nkiruka Odoh of the University of Abuja declared the results, saying Shekwolo, who received the most votes and completed all legal requirements, was legitimately elected and returned as Chairman of Kuje Area Council.
The Kuje outcome completes the list of chairmanship winners from the six Federal Capital Territory area councils.
