The Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP) has congratulated the winner of the 2021 Anambra State governorship election, Prof. Charles Soludo.
The coalition also praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the transparent conduct of the polls and for allowing the wish of the people to prevail.
In a statement signed by its Secretary General, Chief Willy Ezugwu, the CNPP counselled both the winner and the other contestants to join hands to turn the fortunes of the state around for the benefit of all the residents.
“The contestants should accept the outcome and ovoid the temptation of needless post elections litigations that have become a trademark in Anambra State.
“The CNPP believes that the majority has had their way while the minority has also had their say; that is democracy.
“While we congratulate the winner, we urge him to constitute a unity government to speed up developments in Anambra State.
“Prof. Soludo has all it takes to make Anambra State the Dubai of Africa he has always dreamt of.
“Congratulations on your well deserved victory”, the CNPP stated.
