    The Western Security Network Agency, Amotekun in Osun State, has announced that it has arrested one Taiwo Ogunsola for cult-related activities.

    According to a statement by Brigadier General Bashir Adewinmbi, Commander of Amotekun in Osun state, Ogunsola, 29 (m), has been on the wanted list of the Osun Police Anti-Cultism unit for a long time. He was subsequently arrested in Olomilagbala, Ilesa, Osun State.

    Adewinmibi stated that “He was arrested after a complaint was lodged at Amotekun Ilesa Area Command on the activities of the suspect and other gang members.

    “Amotekun operatives swung into action immediately and burst the residence of the suspect where a dane gun and axe were found with him, and he was apprehended”

    Furthermore, he stated that the suspect upon interrogation, confessed to being a key member of the deadly Eiye confraternity.

    “The suspect confessed to being a member of the Eiye confraternity and he has been a member for a long time,” Adewinmbi said.

    He also added that the suspect has been handed over to the Police for further interrogation and prosecution.
