Model Gigi Hadid laid into soon-to-be First Lady Melania Trump during the opening monologue at the American Music Awards Sunday night with a comic impression.

“I love my husband, President Barack Obama and our children Sasha and Malia,” Hadid said with pouted lips, squinted eyes and a fake accent as she mocked Melania’s Republican National Convention speech that lifted material from a speech given by First Lady Michelle Obama.

According to Fox news, Hadid, who co-hosted the show with former “Saturday Night Live” cast member Jay Pharoah, says she has been working on her debut Melania impersonation “all week.”

“I gotta’ get her face right,” Hadid said before doing the impression.

Pharoah called Hadid’s impression “spot on,” and followed hers up with his own of President-elect Donald Trump.

“I love Bruno Mars. I don’t know what color he is, so I can’t deport him,” Pharoah said while impersonating Trump.

People quickly took to social media to bash the hosts for mocking the Trumps.

“Started 2 watch the American Music Awards, as soon as they showed how Un-American they R & bashed President Trump, Boycott #NoRespectNoSupport,” Twitter user @Yolanda111 tweeted.

“Done with the #Amas how dare @GiGiHadid make fun our First Lady Melania Trump.
