Godswill Akpabio has emerged as Senate President of the 10th Senate of the National Assembly.
He emerged the winner to beat his contender, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, both members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Chronicle NG reported earlier that the duo were in a tight contest during the voting process on the floor of the Senate.
He was elected on the floor of the Senate after its inauguration.
