Organizers of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco are allowing supporters to enter stadiums for free after kickoff in matches where the stands are not full, a Confederation of African Football source told AFP.
The AFCON organizers thanked the government and security services for their assistance, as well as parents, the Christian community, the media, and the general public for their prayers, patience, and support.
He also prayed for the healing and rehabilitation of all afflicted families.
On Thursday, CAF’s official ticketing platform showed that seats were available for practically all remaining group matches, with prices starting at 100 dirhams ($10.96).
The only matches listed as sold out were host Morocco’s games against Mali on Friday and Zambia on Monday, as well as Algeria’s games against Burkina Faso on Sunday and Equatorial Guinea next Wednesday.
