Adeola, the daughter of Nollywood actress Jumoke George, has returned to Nigeria from Mali after four years.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, head of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, stated this on Monday.

She claims that Adeola was trafficked in Mali before being brought to the commission.

She wrote, “Breaking!” Adeola, the daughter of famed actress Jumoke George, who had not heard from her for four years, has returned home from Mali, where she was trafficked.

Recall that the experienced actress revealed in an emotional interview how she began living in a church six years ago while dealing with illness and the heartache of a missing kid.

Jumoke revealed on the TalkToB show presented by Abiola Adebayo that she kept her situation a secret due to embarrassment and fear of public mockery.

Her health deteriorated earlier this year, prompting her to postpone booked performing assignments.

She said, “There are some things that are embarrassing to say, but at this point, I have no choice. I want to speak out. I am working, but it’s not like I get jobs every time.

“My first child, Adeola, has been missing. I’ve been looking for her for the past four years. Any small amount of money I got from work was spent looking for her.

“She was in Ibadan, where she was working and living with my mother. So my mother just called me one day to say that she hadn’t seen Deola, who said she was coming to meet me in Lagos. I said I haven’t seen her.”

She revealed that Adeola called one day to beg forgiveness and inform her that she had migrated with some friends in search of a better life, but they had encountered something unexpected.

Meanwhile, Dabiri praised actress Bola Adebayo for breaking the news about the veteran actress’ daughter and actor Niyi Johnson.

“Just received her, with Biola Adebayo, who broke the story, and Niyi Johnson. Details later!”
