Current African Player of the Year, Ademola Lookman, was welcomed back to Atalanta BC in style as he presented his award to the cheering fans at the Gewiss Stadium.

Lookman, who won the coveted prize, showed the award to fans before the start of Atalanta’s Serie A match against Empoli on Sunday.

Lookman was crowned the 2024 African Footballer of the Year in a historic event that confirmed his status as one of the best players in the world in the current calendar year.

The announcement was made during a glittering ceremony in Marrakech, Morocco, celebrating the finest talents in African football.
