Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has arranged a free concert in Osogbo featuring his son, Adebayo Adeleke, also known as B-Red, and other music performers from within and beyond the state.
The declaration comes after his nephew, David Adeleke, often known as Davido, was named Head of Youth Mobilization for the governor’s re-election campaign ahead of the Osun governorship election in 2026.
In a post shared on Wednesday via his X handle, Adeleke said, “Osun, this free concert is for each and every one of you. I am delighted to have my son @B_RedHKN, his friends in the entertainment industry, and exciting upcoming musical acts from across Osun bringing the vibes home!”
The governor also tweeted a poster listing the event’s musicians, which included Peruzzi, CDQ, Fido, Shina Peters, May D, Sinarambo, Peller, and Kolu Wahala.
He described the concert as inclusive and nonpartisan, adding, “This Get Out to Vote Concert is for everyone in Osun State—Accord, ADC, APC, LP, PDP—no political divide, just pure Osun energy!”
Adeleke further stated that the event will be held at the Technical Field in Osogbo on Friday, April 24, with free admission for citizens, and encouraged participation with the slogan “Come out, groove, and let your voice count!”
The development comes as political activity in Osun heats up ahead of the governorship election on August 8, 2026, with parties preparing for campaigns throughout the state.
