The Tallahassee Police Department has identified Oluwatoyin “Toyin” Salau, 19, and Victoria Sims, 75, as victims of a double-homicide.
Police said Monday that 49-year-old Aaron Glee Jr., the suspect in this case, has been taken into custody. He has not yet been charged.
Salau’s name was trending on social media for a week after being identified as a missing person. She had been a vocal activist in the current Black Lives Matter movement and was last seen June 6.

Before she disappeared, the 19-year-old Black Lives Matter protester had tweeted about being molested:

“Investigators have identified the victims in this case as missing persons Oluwatoyin Salau, 19, and Victoria Sims, 75,” a City of Tallahassee Police Department press statement read.
“Both names have been released with permission of their families in accordance with Marsy’s Law.
“The suspect in this case has been identified as Aaron Glee Jr, 49. As stated earlier, he has been taken into custody.
“There is no further information to release at this time.

Aaron Glee had been arrested before the murders, both Oluwatoyin and Vicky Sims weren’t the victims at the time.
Glee was found was found kicking a woman in the stomach on May 29th. The woman who he was kicking told police she was having a drink with Glee when asked her for sex, when she rejected him he became angry.
